The nicest hotel we have ever stayed!
The staff are exceptional! Helpful, kind, genuine and friendly. The location is outstanding making it easy to be one of the first people to see the Taj Mahal at sunrise. They had early morning pastries and coffee ready at 4:45, and handed us a bag with shoe covers and water bottles on our way.

A wonderful stay in a beautiful hotel to make our trip to Agra extra special
Property is beautiful, the staff were amazingly friendly - they allowed us to check in early and to an upgraded room free of charge. The view of the Taj is fantastic (although a little hazy in November) The pool is a great place to relax and the staff were very kind with lots of little extras included to make they stay more social The breakfast was delicious and the chef gave us a wonderful tour of her kitchen
The 2 restaurants weren’t particularly special but the chef was lovely and gave us a tour of the kitchen Some of the pricing in the bar is a bit off - equivalent of £40 for a double gin and tonic but a cocktail of the same amount is half of that.

Top 3 stays of my life
1. Attention to detail - everything from the view of the Taj, building, interiors, color of pool, shrubbery etc just very aesthetically pleasing and one can tell that they’ve really a great amount of thought. 2. Food - I was pleasantly surprised by the level of food at this hotel. Absolutely top notch both in terms of taste and quality. A key factor that makes them standout is their in-house bakery churning out world class pain-an-chocolats, pizzas and garlic naans. 3. Staff - I have long know that Oberoi is known to have the best trained but I think this time they over-did themselves. As this period was off-peak, they upgraded our rooms for free. They were extremely efficient, pleasant and just very accommodating. During dinner my respective other was craving chaat so they staff got papdi chaat and dahi bhalla (off menu) for us free of charge. I can go on and on but in a nutshell I got my moneys worth
